1879 CROSS COUNTRY TOURING NNN SKIN
Superlight Nordic Cross Country Touring ski with ¾ steel edges, an integrated skin and NIS plate
Strong enough to handle rough terrain and hard conditions yet perfectly at home in the groomed cross country tracks, the 1879 modell is a ski for quick adventures.
The 1879 comes equipped with a integrated MIX climbing skin, offering excellent grip and unimpeded glide. The ski’s camber profile, moderate sidecut, and 3/4 steel edges offer speed, stability and control on the descent.
Constructed with a core of Poplar/Paulownia for strength and weight and 48 mm at the waist, the 1879 weighs a remarkable 1550 g per pair for the 200 cm skis – perfect for leaving the groomed tracks to break trail.
The ski is also built with an insert for a short skin, allowing the instant attachment of the X-Skin to make it possible to climb more demanding hills and negotiate more demanding terrain.
1879 Is delivered with a pre-installed NNN C3 plate giving you the opertunety to chose any of the Rottefalla NNN bindings, however we higly recomend the move system for any skin model.
The name 1879 and inspiration for this model is based on the first cross country competiition called Huseby Rennet in todays Oslo, Norway.
